Eco Expo Asia granted US Trade Fair Certification |
|
The US Department of Commerce has granted the US Trade Fair Certification to Eco Expo Asia, in recognition for its success in providing opportunities for US exhibitors to explore world markets.
"As with every USDOC-certified show, we expect to work hand-in-glove with US firms and their prospective partners to foster the development of productive new business relationships. Transparent legal system, rigorous intellectual property rights protection and open government procurement process provide US companies relatively easy access to the Chinese mainland through Hong Kong, often more rapidly and with few cultural barriers than by heading directly to the mainland. Ready access to the two-thirds of the world’s population located within a six-hour flying radius of Hong Kong makes for a compelling reason why this is a market and show not to be overlooked by US companies seeking to reach numerous growing markets new to their firms.

US Pavilion to be launched at 2010 fair |

The fifth edition of the fair will feature for the first time a pavilion from the US. Strongly supported by 18 American companies, the pavilion will be a major draw for buyers in search of the latest technological breakthroughs being made in the areas of clean air and water, environmental consulting, renewable energy, solar power and micro turbine systems.
"I am very pleased that Eco Expo Asia 2010 is working in tandem with the C40 workshop. By hosting these two major environmental events, one for business products and services, the other for policy makers, Hong Kong is a focal point of environmental matters. Our exhibiting US companies and myself expect the fair to provide opportunities to interact with private entrepreneurs and governmental buyers from all over the world. Meeting and listening to visitors’ needs is anticipated and we welcome the opportunity to solve and resolve these environmental issues and/or problems with US products and services."
